The Bπrπ■iei Street is part of one of the old merchant neighbourhoods of the city. The tower that originally guarded the street gate, as well as a small number of houses, inns, and shops from the 17th to the 19th century, have been preserved to this day. The Church of Bπrπ■ie, erected in 1637 by a rich Venetian merchant on the site of an older wooden church, was completely restored in 1930.
